Tropical deforestation
The people are destroying the forests knowingly, which are so valuable to us. The forests are a boon to the earth which is bestowed with different natural resources. The extensive deforestation means the increase in pollution, global warming, natural calamities like flood, drought etc. and the decrease in total oxygen, the extinction of different species from earth etc. The cutting of the tropical forests results in a great damage to the earth’s ecosystem and hence needs to be stopped at the earliest. If the deforestation ceases today it would be an immense help to the mankind as it can help in the rebirth of certain new species which would help in the balance of the flora and fauna. There are certain steps to be taken in order to keep the beauty of the nature intact. Some of the Steps that can be taken are as follows:-Education The people must be provided with certain knowledge about the ecosystem of the earth so that the people know the importance of the trees and stop the illegal cutting of the trees. There should be certain programs so that the children can teach their elders how important the trees are for the earth’s existence. The children must be taught the importance of the trees because the children of today are the future of tomorrow. Education should not however stop only amongst the school aged children but should be continued to the upper level i.e. the older people should also be taught the preventive measures of deforestation. The education however has become the easiest way to transfer the message.
Conservation policies
Saving the forests is a worldwide duty of the people. Measures should be taken by the people to save and preserve the forests. It is not such that only the people who reside in the countries which the forests belong should take initiative for the conservation of the forests but all the people of the world should think of the measures for the conservation of the forests. Now-a-days the world government is willing to give loans to the countries where deforestation is increasing day by day. Moreover, certain governments are willing to cancel the debts of the countries so that the amount could be used for the preservation of the forests and should be used in various awareness programs to avoid deforestation.
Re-growth and Restore
The governments of the world are taking measures to the re-growth of the lost species, although the re-growth of all the lost species is not possible yet steps are taken for the re-growth of certain species. As a result the first Kihansi spray toadlet was given a re- birth and said that the Kihansi spray toadlet would successfully released to the natural habitat. So, such re-growth processes would help in bringing the lost species back to the earth and help them leading a better and a secured life. To save the forests, eco-tourism should also be encouraged so that the people feel that forests are important for attracting the tourists to their country.
