Deforestation in South America

South America is famous for its place for the Amazon Rain forest, but this also suffers from deforestation. It is a place where all creatures dwell in. One which everyone or every country cannot avoid is that the increase in the number of population. Due to the increase in the number of population the requirement for the amount of food also increases. This in turn increases the need for shelter. All this came to be the major cause for the exploration and the deforestation of the forest.  

Causes of deforestation One of the main important points which cause deforestation is the conversion of the forest into the area for the urbanization. Due to the increase in the population, places become congested. Sometimes the government starts focusing new things where people are less. Sometimes all this places are also mused for the extension of the capital. Industries are likely to be set up where there is no dwelling site nearby, because some of the industries fumes are harmful to the health of human beings. So they have to select remote places for their better performance. In order to set up all this they have to clear up the forest and cut down the trees, forests, and so on.

Cutting down of trees and forests In some places the major occurrence of the deforestation can be cutting of the trees. Cutting the trees and burning up, leaving the trees to the roots…etc sometimes are not always treated as a valuable commodities. The value of a thing depends on how it is used. For example, a wristwatch is very useful for a person whose work is based on time not by date. The leading part which bears deforestation in South America is Brazil. You would find that most of the lands are used for cattle grazing. Besides, the land is also used largely for one of their main product items which is known as soybean. Because of their much given effort to the ranching of the cattle they can export around 70% of cattle through the European countries.

Due to their large plantation of soybean in Brazil, it leads to the development of the country to a very large extent. Besides because of this plantation, they were the second highest which cause abundant deforestation of the country. But with the rise of the deforestations, there have been a lot of problems in South America. This is not the major reason. Another reason is the presence of diamond and gold in the part of Venezuela. Because of this, people go for clearing up the forest so as to explore more since these are the most valuable commodities which a country can have. This needs the trees to be cut off and start the plantation as wide as they can. It is very important to take important steps to prevent deforestation. One can go for planting trees or setting up gardens in their home. This would help in bringing the ecological balance in the planet.
