We all know that trees are a boon to the earth, with the help of the trees we are able to live as they give out oxygen which is inhaled by us. But the human are cutting the trees down to fulfill their requirement of wood, farm and the development of the state. Nowadays the people only look for the collection of money to lead a luxurious life but in this process they go through a huge danger to their lives. The cutting down of trees for certain reason is called deforestation. The several means of deforestation are simple cutting of trees , where at least the cut trees are used as lumber but when forest is set into fire there is a total loss of the resources as well as it produces pollution . The land where the forest is burnt the cultivation is not so good and moreover there is a risk that the whole of the forest might catches fire as well and the forest might exhausts.  

Why is deforestation done? The deforestation in the Amazon is going on with a great pace. The people are cutting down the trees to make more and more profit. The people are destroying the forests mainly for cattle pasture because through this business the people can earn easy profits without spending much and hence the forests are often cut down for savannas and the cattle coarse. About 70% of the forests are destroyed for cattle pasture. Secondly, deforestation is done for the building of farms as most of the population of Brazil is agriculture oriented and hence the people require more cultivable lands and again it is because of the government because the poor farmers are stimulated by the government to settle in these areas. Damaging the ecosystem The procedure which the farmers use for deforestation is burning the forests which cause a great damage to the ecosystem by evaluating the harmful gases which is one of the main causes of global warming. Again in Brazil the soyabean cultivation takes place at a very high rate and so the people require large areas of land for its cultivation. It is also one of the main causes of deforestation which is going on at a very high pace. Most of the people think that the forests are destroyed for woods as the forests contain many types of trees which produce very good quality of wood and hence they are cut down to obtain wood for different purposes. But only a minimum amount of the forests are destroyed for the need of wood. The other cause of deforestation is the civilization; the construction of roads and the buildings. Deforestation should be stopped because the trees provide us with many useful things like medicines. The trees also play a vital role in checking the soil erosion. The trees are also responsible for the monsoons. The government has to take strict actions against the deforestation as soon as possible or else it might be very late.
