Deforestation has become a huge problem and is considered to be a threat to our planet. Deforestation can be somewhat prevented but it mainly depends on the people within. Cutting down of forest, burning up the woods, all this leads to deforestation. If the government are in an intention to build up new projects or to build up some industries they need to clear up a large acres of land. This is due to setting up or building a factory or industries. This applies to the development of some scientific or technology as well. So, in this regard sometimes the forest has to be cleared up.

Effect of deforestation We human beings breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide but this thing is reverse for trees, they breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen which is very vital for living beings. So, from these little points also we can come to the conclusion of how forest is very important for us. So, if the forest gets cleared up, it will become more and more difficult for human beings to live and this will affect all our body. Even though the people as well as the government go on progressing and build up more and more industries and factories. Unfortunately this automatically leads to deforestation. Role of the government From the very old days even though scientific knowledge might not influence them, but there are few people who really saw the importance of the forest. Among them the most admired man was the Red India king Chief Seattle who occupied some part or we can say the greater part of America. He was asked by the American president to give their land so that the government can build up a factory which will lead to more employment. It said that it would be good for the economic condition of the country as well. Chief Seattle could not deny the government, but what he told the president was the most influential for the conservation of the forest. Because of his word his statue was also made and exposed publicly. He knew the beauties of the nature and he described the flow of water as the voice of their great great grandfather. Besides he even told that industries and train etc doesn’t serve good purpose as they were merely noise for him. He even found that horses, birds…etc were his family, sister and brothers as well. Besides he mentioned that living with all this creatures is the most beautiful part of his life. So, in order to meet the demands in this world the government makes up some plans. But what they do is they neglect the chance of destroying the forest. It is very important to take drastic as well as serious plans in order to avoid deforestation. It is best if one could go for planting trees or a garden. This would help in maintaining the ecological balance in the atmosphere. The government should come up with different policies against cutting down of trees.
